Banco Ciudad has launched new soft loan lines for acquiring electric and plug‑in hybrid (PHEV) vehicles in Buenos Aires. The products target taxi owners, taxi fleet operators, and delivery‑motorcycle users. Terms offer up to 70 % financing, a fixed 22.5 % interest rate, and a municipal subsidy. Taxi and fleet loans can reach AR 28 million over 48 months at a 20 % annual rate. Motorcycles may receive up to AR 2.8 million over 36 months. Starting in year three, taxes drop by 60 %, 40 % and 20 %. Electric cars enjoy a full tax exemption for the first 12 months. Applications are processed online via the bank’s official website.
